This wine is produced from Sauvignon Blanc, that is cultivated in several blocks of the estate’s vineyards. After skin contact it is fermented in French oak barrels and then aged on its lees for a few months. It has a a bright yellow-gold colour, a bouquet of tropical notes including pineapple, melon and toasty vanilla on the palate. Length, complexity and structure are some of the oak’s benefits.
Balanced, delicate, smooth, rounded. This wine is aged for one year in French oak barrel. Flavours are mostly of seasonings (pepper, etc.), vanilla, cherry and generally red fruits. An excellent accompaniment for red meats, particularly beef and game cooked in various ways.
The Greek variety of Malagousia combined with the world famous Chardonnay. The fruity characters of Chardonnay with pineapples, bananas, apples and pears married uniquely with the more ripe characters of peach, apricot and orange of Malagousia. Impressive ruby red colour, rich aroma of red forest fruit with blackberry and wild cherry prevalent, and a spicy character, dominated by the aromas of wood, pepper and smoke. Some of the oldest, low yielding Syrah vines of the estate are vinified separately producing this wine. Extended maceration of the skins and alcoholic fermentation last about 20 days, follows malolactic fermentation and after that barrel ageing in French oak barrels in the underground cellar.
